We're traveling out of town from Texas and decided to try a new food spot along the way. We stopped here and there were people pulling up like us , before the restaurant opened. Which is a good sign!! As soon as it opened quite a few people were sat down. They have an awesome lunch menu to choose from. A range of bisque sand other seafood style soups to choose. They also have a large varieties of salads and sandwiches to choose from. I got the chicken salad sandwich which was very fresh and had a great flavor!! They had a 7 grain bun that paired nicely and didn't over power or dry it out. Their thin cut fries have great flavor and weren't dry or too greasy. My mom and sister got the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. AMAZING! And the Gravy was awesome. My brother got a fried fish and shrimp gumbo and it was really good. They also have really great ice as well to go with the drinks. And they have water on the table for when you first come in.
Our waiter was awesome!! Dejuan (not sure on spelling) but he was very prompt and on his game!!

Went for an early lunch with 6 co-workers for a little going away party (reservations were made in advance). The service was fine, but only about half of us came away satisfied with our meal (thankfully the woman we were sending off was one of them). I ordered a seared tuna salad with avocado and mango salsa. The menu said the tuna was rare. The waiter asked how I wanted it again, and I re-iterated that rare was great. The tuna came out VERY well done, with no pink showing at all. Needless to say, it was dry and tough. I had a hard time finding the salsa, and everyone at the table who had avocados involved in their meals said they could barely find any either. The real offense came when someone at my table ordered the haricots verts (which, in the past have come sauteed with garlic and olive oil, etc.). What came out was a dish of raw/partially microwaved, dry beans with no sauce or butter. Just a dash of paprika thrown on there. She took a bite of it, declared it disgusting, and sent it back for a salad. When the bill came, the beans were still on there, and the waiter refused to take it off because she had had a bite, yet in the same breath he said they were taking them off the menu soon because a lot of customers had complained about them. Also, how was she supposed to know they were nasty without taking a bite? Would they have sent it on to another unsuspecting customer if she had not? It was bizarre.

All in all, the experience was a 2-star affair, but I've been once before and had an OK meal, so I'm upping it to 3.

Food was awesome - I got the Gumbo with the Chicken Paillard and Bread Pudding! I was SUPER full and the service was WAAAAAYYYY above average! Trey was very nice and attentive! I'm visiting the area for work,  but I plan on coming back before leaving! GREAT JOB GUYS!

We waited over an hour for our meal with no attention from the server. When we finally got the server and asked to speak with the manager he essentially did nothing and looked at us as if we were a bother to him. Watching multiple tables who were seated after us get the attention of multiple servers was off putting. I'm not sure if we were in a blind spot in the restaurant, if they made a kitchen error, or if they are just incompetent when it comes to customer service. I will not be coming back here.

I went here for lunch with my mom we figured since they are opening up a location in Zachary right by our house we need to try them out!

The building has a nice outdoor eating area if you are someone who likes to enjoy a patio. The menu had several items that interested me ! The waitress came over with a small pitcher of water for our table. I told her it was our first time here so she suggested several items from the menu.

I ended up getting the pot roast it came with mashed potatoes and green beans but I substituted for carrot soufflé and white beans . My mom ordered the debris poboy and she explained she wanted it fully dressed and the waitress asked her was she wanted on it . So my mom told her lettuce tomato , mayo, and cheese.

The food came out pretty fast which you can't really beat. My mom was upset bc her poboy was not fully dressed she opened it and did find a small amount of cheese and a strand of lettuce then her gravy was in a tiny container where you couldn't dip your poboy into it. So she asked for a bigger bowl so she could dip the poboy. Well my pot roast was very tender it wasn't exactly my favorite flavor but it was okay. The white beans were amazing though and the carrot soufflé was okay as well.

Next time I go I will try something else I will definitely be getting some more of their white beans. My only complaint is it took awhile after asking for a to go dish to get one or the ticket my guess is the waitress wanted to get us dessert but when I'm ready I like to be able to go lol!
